。・゚゚・Quick Plot・゚゚・。
Lilia writes a paper at her local community college detailing a “fake parasitic infection” that’s really based off of her mother’s death. This gets shared with a team from a prestigious college and earns her a scholarship - and puts her right in the path of Dr. Death - who can’t seem to stand her.

Lilia - great FMC! Her personality was interesting.
Devryk- yesssss. But also I wish I could throttle him.

The world building was great & so was the development and intricacy of the parasite.

Nocticadia was recommended to me when I asked for long audiobooks that were good and had great dual narration. This absolutely delivered! The slow burn was indeed slow, but the payoff was worth it. I was absolutely caught up in the story the entire time. I look forward to more of her books!
