The Sleeping Beauty

A solid 3.5 stars. It isn’t an overly saccharine love story. The characters all feel like they have a complexity to them. But the tragedy of Emily’s backstory feels like it left a lot unexplored. We never get to see things from her point of view, so it kind of makes sense. But at the same time, it leaves me wondering how she feels about ending up in her particular situation and now having it explained by other characters.
