The Last Sherlock Holmes Story by Rosalie Kerr, Michael Dibdin

I feel extremely ??? from finishing this book and have trouble even giving it a rating. On the one hand it is a very well written book in terms of the historical accuracy and writing in the vein of ACD. On the other hand I kept expecting a second plot-twist that never came. When Holmes was revealed to be Jack the Ripper and Moriarty a figment of his imagination, I thought it surely could not be true. There just seems something... wrong about it, especially when combined with the reaction of Watson and his decision to KILL HOLMES?!?!? I picked up this book as I hoped it would be more satisfying than the disappointment of the last Sherlock Holmes-Jack the Ripper book I read, but alas.
