kaleksandrah 's review for:
A Room of One's Own
by Virginia Woolf
6 stars. Or 10.
I seriously don't know why I've only read it now when I fell in love with Virginia's writing like 15 years ago.
But it was a good time to read it just now, because it's the most empowering and hopeful thing I've ever read.
I wanted to include some of my favourite quotes here but soon realised there are too many of them. Virginia was a genius. And it's a truth what is written in introduction to Polish translation: this is the ultimate feminist essay and everything that came afterwards is only the extensions to the topics included here.
