Fun read!!
While the plot is a bit recycled (rich girl poor boy fall in love) and I've read multiple other crash-land-and-survive-on-mysterious-planet books, it was very well done and a page turner.
Even though it was Teens making all the decisions through the book, which often leads to many facepalm moments, I thought here it was well done. These kids aren't perfect, they do make mistakes, but they have common sense and skills and it did make sense for their characters to have those skills.
There's some unexpected existential angst thrown in toward the end. I liked it, but I'm worried with the second book looking like it will focus on 2 more new teens, will it get addressed properly as the story goes forward? Or do we just never return to the issue at hand? Because if it's the latter that's rather disappointing.
