3.0

A solid three star book. I ended up enjoying it but I could also point out flaws at every point.
First; the dialogue is terrible, bordering on cringy when it's meant to be serious.
Second; the naming in this book is awful. One of the main love interests (I presume a triangle forms at some point) is named Dick Gansey... For anyone that's not Irish, that basically makes it sound like his name is penis pullover. Barrington Whelk is another... Name.

The climax of the book is very confusing. The best way to describe it is imagine someone is telling you a story but at the exciting bit they mumble. Sorry...? Excuse me..? I didn't quite catch that...
Then it cuts away without a resolution and ends. What was the relevance of that??
