I enjoyed getting more of Marcus’s backstory and seeing familiar faces from the All Souls series, but the pacing felt uneven and the shifting timelines sometimes pulled me out of the story. While there were moments of depth and intrigue, it didn’t capture the same magic as the original trilogy. Still, a nice addition for fans who want to spend more time in this world.
