July 2020 Reread: Just when I never thought I could love this book more, it proved me wrong! I cried and laughed even more this time around! This is easily one of my favorite books of all time! I know I will reread it at least once a year until forever because my heart has found a home in a house on the cerulean sea!
I finished this book a week ago and I still cannot find words to express how deeply I love this book. I am speechless. This book is a warm hug. It is sunshine after rain. It is the calm beach after a storm. It is joy after sorrow! It might be the most heartfelt book I've ever read! I have fallen in love with these children and this place. They are hilarious, they play pranks, they share their hearts., and they are so resilient. I wish I could go on an Saturday adventure with them all. This book is light and fun without being surface level. It is light and joyful because they are coming through hardships and sorrow together as a family. It is whimsical and busting with love. I cried so many happy tears and could not love this book, kids, Linus, and Arthur more. I HIGHLY recommend this book! Please pick it up and then we can travel to the Cerulean Sea together!
