Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie

I didn't like this one much, it felt a bit too unreal and somehow forced, like a grumpy old woman having a go at "modern" society. E.g. there was altogether too much repetition of the idea that mental illness is to blame for the world's ills, and that somehow it was never a problem in the past. Plus the whole absurd "sacrifice" sequence, I reject the idea that anyone would be that batty. Not one of her best, by a long shot.
