I picked this up at the library, I just liked the title. It was okay, the writing was decent, and the characterization was consistent. However...while it was an okay book, it left me with no desire to read the rest of the series. It started out really well, so maybe I was just expecting a different kind of story than I got and that's why I feel let down. It's definitely worth a read and if you like paranormal romance you'll probably enjoy this series. I think I was expecting more of a paranormal mystery/thriller type story and less of a

messiah

story.
