Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.

There was something with the writing style that didn’t jive with me. It read like mediocre fanfic with a lot of telling vs showing, choppy phrasing, and awkward prose. I found myself rolling my eyes every two minutes and finally accepted that I don’t have to force myself to read something that I’m not enjoying. 

Ultimately, it’s just not for me. I loved the premise but I’m moving on.
