Volume two brought the same adorable vibes that volume one did and then some. I really liked that a good chunk of this installment focused on Nick and how he was navigating his own journey of finding an identity that felt right for him. That is such a personal and occasionally scary time and I really appreciate the way that Oseman approached it, she (and by proxy the characters she created) gave Nick the space to do some soul searching and time to figure out what felt right to him. It feels so important to have this representation about a character exploring their feelings and having a nice supportive system around them while they do it. It might not be the same experience all people get, but to see it shown is a strong message I think. I am very excited get my hands on the next volume as soon as possible.
