I Was Born for This by Alice Oseman

4.0

I was completely unprepared by how absolutely wrenching this turned out to be. Definitely thought this was more of a feel-good read and didn’t set my expectations accordingly. Once I got over that I really enjoyed it.

I’ve always thought that girls who had a One Direction phase experienced a joy I’ve never gotten to. A type of hive mind bonding I see people finding today with K-pop. So I’m always excited to read about fan culture and this didn’t disappoint.
