I read the Medusa book first and loved it so so so much. This one however was super disappointing.
It was well written but there were just too many really long internal monologues that kept interrupting the flow of dialogues between characters. It was disrupting and it made the pace of the story drag.
There aren’t any supporting characters that I was in love with like in book 2.
The chemistry also wasn’t insanely hot compared to book 2. I just didn’t click with any of the characters or the story which is so annoying. I wanted to like it so bad because of how much I loved book 2 but it just didn’t do it for me.
