Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

5.0

So I read Reminders Of Him and now I wander whether I love this one or Verity more. This is my second #CoHoread & I know I'll end up with reading almost every book written by her. I hate reading ebooks but I couldn't resist the temptation to read this.

The book is about Kenna who is recently been released from the prison , now in search of the baby girl she gave birth while in jail four years ago.

I'll be honest with yall. I cried. I ugly cried while reading this. I had to take this whole ride on an emotional roller coaster. Nevertheless, the book had a nice happy ending.

I love how the diverse personalities & emotions of humans are brought together by the author. Colleen has that super power that breaks & crushes the hearts of her readers & mend them as if nothing happened. But a lot happens. We are not the same people we were before we read the book.

In this beautifully drafted book we encount different motherly figures that straightly address our hearts. And we find a little girl, Kenna's daughter whose imagination makes her cuter than any other kid. Everything in the novel seems so real and I am glad that I got to read this amazing piece of literature.

Everything was flawless though the protagonist's life was full of flaws. She learnt self love , she learnt how to forgive herself and specially , she got the real experience of being a part of a family.

I cried for Scotty , her lost love and the part that kept her alive because I adored how he had treated her while dating. And I was fully broke when Scotty said that he'll make everything fine for her and when Grace gave Kenna that little bag in the latter part of the story.

As I the phrase "I cried" happened to repetitively appear in this brief review I fear that you'll hesitate to read this. BUT DON'T , JUST READ THIS ADORABLE BOOK & EMBRACE EVERY MOMENT ! THANK ME LATER.
