This was a super interesting concept that I think Zadie Smith's introduction added to immensely. Without that introduction I don't think I would've understood half the significance of the story lol. I liked it but it was too short for me to really connect with the characters and rate it higher - but also I acknowledge that that wasn't really the purpose of the story, this is intended to be an experiment on the reader and it's a terrific one at that!
