This was an odd book because it simultaneously felt like one long epilogue as well as one long prologue. I somehow still enjoyed it, but that’s mainly because V.E. Schwab is gifted in world building and interesting characters. For a 600+ page book the plot was…thin. I really think I could summarize all of the main plot points in 60 seconds, which is nuts because the audiobook is over 21 hours long.
