5 stars for the chapter about My So-Called Life, one of my favorite shows ever, which made me feel all the feelings. So much nostalgia in this book. I really want to rewatch Freaks and Geeks now. After listening, my feelings about both of those shows not being given a fighting chance by the networks were completely confirmed. It was also interesting to hear more background info about Fresh Prince and Glee.
I’ll be honest and say I did skip the chapters about shows I didn’t watch (Dawson’s Creek, The O.C., and Friday Night Lights). I started listening to the Dawson’s Creek one but couldn’t relate. Then I realized I didn’t have to actually listen to the whole book to make it a valid, fulfilling reading experience.
