Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

I only read this book originally because I heard of the TV show that was coming out.

I saw that one of my favorite actors was going to be in it and knew I had to read it.

I struggled at first to get into the story, it was kinda confusing.

Once I figured out what the dialogue was, and pieced it together I was in love!

It reads like an interview and the details are all in chronological order as the interviewer is asking everyone the same questions to link up the timeline.

I loved how you feel like you're getting a private look into how music touring is. I know some of it is fictionalized but the amount of detail and research makes me wonder how much is actually true. I know a lot of artists struggle with the things in the book. It made me feel really sad for taking musicians for granted. They sacrifice so much for the fans. I really hope you love this book as much as I did. But also look at it deeper and realize how much of a cost being famous is.
