This book was so good in the first half. I love the chemistry between the mains. But I hate the last minute breakup trope and the constant miscommunication was so annoying. Honestly Aiden was such a red flag in the second half. The last little bit was not enough to redeem him with all his hot and cold behavior. Lucie suddenly deciding she didn't want magic was disappointing as well. The ending just kinda killed the vibe for me.
