Picked this one up since it seemed much anticipated. This book is not what I expected.
I found this book really slow at first, I put it down for several weeks because the beginning didn't hook me. But, I pushed through and things pick up in the second half once the central conflict picks up.
Overall, I don't think I liked the characters very much. I really didn't like the mini-chapters about Gore's backstory. I just feel like this book has some potential but felt like it could have used a bit more focus in terms of plot.
