1,000 Mitzvahs: How Small Acts of Kindness Can Heal, Inspire, and Change Your Life by Linda Cohen

4.0

After suffering the death of her father, this author decided to do 1000 "mitzvahs" (or good deeds) in his honor as a way to work through her grief. It took her just over 2 years to complete all of the good deeds. Some were small and some were large. This book is organized by theme (like food kindnesses, or volunteering) rather than a chronological list of the mitzvahs. Much of the author's service and commentary focus on her Jewish faith. All together, I enjoyed it.
