Perfect Little Monsters by Cindy R.X. He

Idk how I felt about this. On the one hand it was a very fast and entertaining read. On the other hand, so much of the writing and the plot felt cliche/dated/overdone, but maybe that’s because I’m not really the YA target audience anymore? Unlike some of the other reviewers I didn’t actually guess the twist (although in retrospect it is pretty obvious, and the only thing I found suspicious didn’t really end up being a clue - the fact that Dawn just calls her aunt by her first name) so props for that, but the way it ended up manifesting…I didn’t like the way this book dealt with mental health.
