I might be a bit biased because I own a Newfoundland but I loved this book. It was an easy read and very cute.
George is exceptional. I kept thinking of my Newf Daphne in George’s place and how many of their quirks are similar. This book made me so proud to have a Newfoundland and to really appreciate the breed for who they are.
I like how Colin didn’t dwell too much on the struggles of his life, though he went through something terrible the book was, at it’s heart, all about George.
I’d recommend this book to everyone, it was cute, touching, heartwarming, and about dogs so that makes it all the better.
