While I would normally rate this book lower, I was not expecting to cry in this book and for that alone, I will not be rating it what I would have.

Anywho, I don't mind taboo romances by any means, but I will say for me as a reader I cannot stand the whole "I'm a virgin and idk what I am doing" and "I need an older man to teach me all the things" lines. I am not saying that those things are not valid, they are(I mean we all have to learn at some point), but I don't like reading about it when it comes to an experienced man doing all the teaching. Idk, rubs me the wrong way and it's just not my thing. Now that's not to say that Sean our MMC wasn't kind or anything, but his inner dialogue when it came to Zenny was cringey at best. I CANNOT STAND THAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HER BEING A BABY and then in the next sentence wanting to fuck her. AGGGHHHHHHHHHH. Not that he wanted to when she was a baby...but like come on man, ewwwwwwww.

But I will say the whole cancer thing with his mom hit too close to home and I thought the author did a really good job showcasing what it looks like for a family member to help their family navigate it all. When their mom passed, I bawled so hard.

I really enjoyed Zenny and her kindness, but I wish there would have been more with her character.

Not my favorite read, but it wasn't bad writing either.
