A cemetery that can bring pets back to life. It seems like a joke but not for the Creed family. When they move to their new home next to a busy street, the Creed family has to deal with the looming threat of the Pet Sematary in their backyard. And it may be more than the Creed family can handle.

This book starts off extremely slowly. There is a great amount of set-up for the rest of the events in the novel. Pet Sematary focuses less on the horror aspect of the cemetery and instead focuses on grief. In that way, I thought that this book was very good but slow with the rising action happening extremely late in the book.

Overall, it was a good book in terms of the depictions of grief but in the case of a horror book, it was a bit of a letdown.
