Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz

3.0

I decided to revisit this old classic fave of mine when I saw that IMDb TV was making a show based on the series. The adaptation definitely looks cool, but the first book in the series doesn't quite hold up the way I remember it. Doesn't help that technology has moved way past 2004. But Horowitz definitely made a cool, fairly convincing case for how a 14-year-old boy could get looped into the spy biz. Old memories and good vibes die hard, so I still enjoyed revisiting this childhood classic.
