The Fine Print by Lauren Asher
1.0

This was one of the very few instances where I took the high road out instead of dragging this book to the mud and what I get in return? almost 2 years have passed and I keep thinking about how fucking pissed I still am because I keep seeing this series everywhere with praises and shit and I JUST CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE.

I might as well lower my rating while I’m at it…

We all love to hate on Colleen Hoover but at least she’s given us variety, she’s made us feel a whole spectrum of emotions at the very least, everything I’ve read from Lauren Asher on the other hand is mediocre and forgettable at best.

So you all took the most MID book in existence ever, put it up in a pedestal and you’re now forcing it’s sequels down our throats!
I just can’t.

Because of books like this, people hate on romance in general. This offers nothing and does everything in the most bland way you could possibly imagine. No character, no spice, no chemistry, no banter, nothing It’s like the most basic YA version of adult romance books and it sucks so badly. Plus the trope of grumpy billionaire with a quirky sunshine female lead, that I don’t even like, is so overdone it’s not even funny how unoriginal it is. It was a chore trying to get through and I get PTSD every time I see this series mentioned anywhere.

Please for the love of god just move on to better books, pick up literary anything else and spare me the misery
