Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer

5.0

I very much so enjoyed this version of Twilight from Edward's POV. I got this book as a birthday gift. I'd recommend it to fans of the Twilight saga. This is the sort of book I enjoy. I hope there will be more books like this.

"I could see the effects of the light refracting off my skin shining prism-like," Edward describes his diamond-like skin and how light refracts, without using the word sparkle.

"So how was it possible that the sun was rising now, in the middle of my midnight?" An excellent way to use the title of the book in the story.
A mention of Persephone and a pomegranate gives the cover image meaning.
And there's a mention of it being twilight, the time when vampires come out to play, when it's the safest time of day.
