The Concrete Jungle by Charles Stross

4.0

This is more of a short story that comes right after The Atrocity Archives. Thankfully it doesn't suffer from the same pacing issues that I faced with the first book, which might be due to the fact that the whole thing is around 60 pages long. Nevertheless, the plot, involving gorgon-esque security cameras and a short-fused awesome detective (that I'm hoping we'll get to see again), is top notch and resolved itself in an immensely satisfying way.
