A lovely hug in a book.
Probably won't remember it, or change my life in any way but it was just what was needed. It's about love, friendship, coming of age...when your age is midlife. How parts of yourself get lost in life through no one's fault. It's about the bravery to change that.
A really feel-good novel, with beautifully drawn characters, intelligent and funny dialogue. Phoebe is definitely someone I'd want to know.
