All My Love by Morgan Elizabeth

4.0

- second chance romance
- rockstar romance
- friends to lovers
- secret marriage

Going into this, I knew there was going to be angst. Over and over, that’s what I saw that this was Morgan’s angst book and there would be feels. But did I listen? No. And now, I will be sending Morgan my therapy bill kthnx.

I feel like All My Love was a different vibe than some of Morgan’s other pull at your heartstrings books and I was living for it. It pulled me out of a reading slump and I was ready to fight the world so that Riggs and Stella could be together. The chemistry between them was unmatched and I just wanted them to be happy more than anything. Also, there was a “I’m her husband” moment for Riggs that just made me love him 1000x more. I don’t make the rules, that’s just how life goes.

There weren’t too many issues that I had with the story. If I had to identify them, I would say that there were moments where things were too on the nose and Stella’s mom. Having Stella be the one to write Girl Crush about a girl that was rumored to be dating Riggs and then the events of Dial Drunk happen to Riggs felt a bit too feeding into the songs. As far as Stella’s mom, she kind of went straight up cheesy villain towards the end there. It felt like her being an issue and cause of their big split was thrown in as a way where the incident happened, but neither of them actually did it or intentionally did it.

Still, if you want a second chance romance filled with plenty of longing and history between the two mains, All My Love may just be for you 💜 thank you Morgan Elizabeth for continuing to allow me to be on your ARC team and for letting me enjoy this book!
