The Last Chance Library by Freya Sampson
4.0
Hooray for libraries and the people who love them
The basis of this charming novel is a sad story that is all too real in many places these days. The resolution is a bit trite and I feel somewhat cheated by the way it comes about, but it gives readers the happy ending that we want, with some reservations. If you understand that the value of a library goes far beyond a source of free books to read, you will enjoy this one.
