This was a very good and important YA book! Heartfelt, funny, and charming. I liked the way it examined the label of bisexuality (specifically that bi/pan people are just as queer as anyone even if they’re in a “straight passing” relationship) as well as the impact of social media on self esteem. Normally if a novel has too many contemporary references, it can pull me out of the story but here it absolutely made sense to talk about modern music, tv, internet slang, etc.
