Been waiting for Hayes book and it was worth it.
Hayes world is changed fast and quickly by getting guardianship over his niece. Unsure on what to do, as he feels he needs to still grow up himself, is pushing it close to not having arrangements set up for the season to help with his 7 year old niece, Flora. Insert, the hot mess express, Quinn.
Quinn and Hayes are attracted to each other from the jump but try to play it off. She gets a trial run passes and then they realize well she needs to live with them. Well, lines are crossed and their chemistry is too much to deny each other.
Quinn and Hayes both had a different relationship with Flora. Quinn's ability to connect with Flora was sweet and heart warming. Hayes drive and motivation to give Flora everything he didn't have pulled on some heart strings.
Both Quinn and Hayes grew together throughout the book. As did Flora, that poor girl. :( I think they all balanced each other out and motivated each other to want to do better. I loved the little family they built!
Their banter was so much fun, the flirting was on point and they had all the spice! Ladies and gents, we got a dirty talker in Hayes. He does not disappoint.
Teagan also provides us the fun and hilarious "Serpents Singles Chat" and let me tell you. They are so funny and entertaining AF!
