I finished it this morning and some sections definitely hit hard, others just made me think that the author just wanted a place to rant about movies and phones. It was a bit repetitive too but I get the heart of the message.
I couldn't believe that he'd allow movies to disappear knowing that it was his ex-girlfriend's and old friend's livelihood. He was desperate to live but the cost would seriously affect the lives of others, I don't think I could do that. It does speak to how people can be selfish and not see beyond their own interests.

It made me sad but glad that the ending was a bit more uplifting.
