Never Too Far by Abbi Glines
4.0
Thank goodness for Smashwords otherwise I'd have had to wait another week to read this!
Synopsis: this is book 2 and Blaire finds herself in another situation, like her mother's illness, where she appears to have no-one to rely on her but herself. But she isn't alone and help comes from unexpected quarters - well, unexpected for Blaire who has been let down so many times she daren't rely on anyone anymore. But there is one person she isn't sure she wants help from and that's Rush, because she isn't sure she can trust him to put her needs first.
Well, I was desperate to read this book and first may I just say huge thanks to Abbi Glines for her teasers, quick turnaround and sticking to the expected publishing date. However, I think that in a bid to achieve the latter she may have compromised on storyline for the end felt a little rushed. I wanted to see more grovelling!!!!!
I didn't like Rush so much in this one
Another great book. Teeny-tiny errors that I'm sure loads of people will have emailed about already and a new version will probably be loading as I type (the wonders of the digital era). But then, we did ask her to hurry up and get the book finished. I can live with them quite happily to have the book so quickly. Thank you, Abbi.

Spoiler
because he kept doing what he promised over and over again he wouldn't do - hurt Blaire; put his family first; not consider her needs... And she accepted his lame arse excuses every single time - but then she wouldn't be the sweet girl she is if she hadn't. She was enabling him as much as he ever enabled his bitchy sister. But that last humongous error - yelling at her and then refusing to talk to her for ten days - was too much. Blaire was far too soft on him - see what I mean about it feeling a little rushed?
