On the Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder
4.0

Its hard not to see the train-wreck coming. But still the trials and travails of Laura and crew make a good read. After multiple books of everything being made by hand, it was strange to see the Ingalls buying so many items. Still there was the fish trap and the building of the house by boards. The description of ball lightning could have been a bit more informative.
