I wanted to love this more than I did.
I think the concept was great, and I think it was honest in its exploration of the themes. I just couldn’t quite relate to Ivy. I loved Henry and Mack, but this story is very Ivy centric and while I have written a ton of fanfiction and read even more we have different fanfic preferences, so I think the whole thing just felt off in my brain.
I usually love Sophia Gonzales’ books so I’m super sad this didn’t leave me feeling giddy and in love, but it was cute.
