I’m not sure if I have much to say about this book. I loved it of course, just as much as the first time I read it. Out of the three I’ve read so far it’s probably my least favorite though mostly because Annabeth is barely in it and I’m dying for some Percabeth content. That being said, I loved all the new characters. I especially loved Nico of course. I loved him when I first read this series and I love him even more now. It makes me so sad that I have to read about him losing his happiness in real time. I hate that he doesn’t have Bianca anymore and I hate that he doesn’t trust Percy. He’s gonna be so sad in the next book, but being a son of Hades is pretty freaking cool in my opinion. I liked getting to know Thalia more and getting to see how she compares to Percy. I also really liked Zoë by the end of the book. She was a little annoying at first, but I’m a sucker for characters being turned into constellations when they die (very specific I know). I also love how Percy continues to surprise me. He’s so brave and just really freaking awesome. He held up the sky?! Because he wanted to! I loved the comparisons to Hercules and how Percy kind of denounced being that type of hero. Overall, I loved it. So much more character growth and plot complexities. I don’t want this reread to end!
