I feel like this book works more as a book than the last one did. It flowed better and felt like it was more in it's own contained universe than a video game book. I feel like th dialogue had a bettwe flow in this one as well.
Yes again there was the forced romance that I don't really think anyone would want really. Either that or I just do not enjoy John as a character. I also felt like Charlie was a lot more in her head this book. Honestly I loved Jessica as a character I wish we had more time with her instead.
The plot was interesting but I don't think this book was scary at all. Some parts were even rather strange. The twists were expected and I can see where the story is going especially after the end. I'm just curious how they are going to explainthe fact Charlie can bleed and heal wounds if she really is a robot which is what I'm assuming since there is a younger version of her. I assume the Charlie at the end is an older version since robots don't age.
Also them hinting at this god damn door and we don't even get to see it open annoys me a little bit.
