This novella just really made me hungry all the time, and make me have pancake cravings.

This novella started off slowly for me, as new characters and a new part of Roshar was being introduced to the reader, but it was around halfway through the book that things started to pick up. What made up for the slow pace at the start were Lift and Wyndle. Lift is a character that I didn't expect that I would enjoy from the first time we encounter her in [b:Words of Radiance|17332218|Words of Radiance (The Stormlight Archive, #2)|Brandon Sanderson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1507307927l/17332218._SY75_.jpg|16482835]. But as the story went on, I got to know her character better and came to start rooting for her. I actually love how this one explored more on how Lift's powers work, as it was a totally different thing from the other Knights Radiant that were already introduced in the other books.

It may not be my most favorite Sanderson Cosmere novella to date, but I'm more than excited to see what he has in store for Lift.
