Pushing the Limits
by Katie McGarry
This one started out really well for me but as the book went on I lost a a little of my zest for it.
The situations some of the characters were faced with seemed pushed and overdone in some areas and it seemed overwrought at times. I had difficulty really loving the main character Echo, I wanted her to be stronger, to stand up to some of her friends and what they pushed her into. Although I really liked Noah it was hard to jump on board their relationship because it felt like it went from zero to eighty too quickly. There could have been more push and pull between them. Amp up the tension a bit.
A good story, but I had my frustrations with it.
