Lesbian vampires are always going to be a hit with me. I do wish I had read the original Carmilla first to have the full context of this book, but the story stands perfectly on its own even if you’ve never heard of Sheridan Le Fanu.
The audiobook was just okay for me. The narration of Lenore was good but the voices narrator chose for Carmilla and Henry were grating.
