Night's Cold Kiss by Tracey O'Hara

2.0

The novel has a promising start, but doesn't sustain that promise. The world building is a bit convoluted, with elements introduced randomly and without obvious impact on plot or understand. The heroine is a walking contradiction, introduced as tough, strong and a top fighter, yet, she doesn't often exhibit these skills later in the novel. The love story is more lust than love, with little character growth or understanding. It's not a terrible novel, but there are better ones in the genre.
