Elodie Hart does it again with another sexy and emotionally impactful romance. I was curious about Athena ever since reading Unveil and was hoping to see her get a story of her own. Although I love Anton and Gen's relationship, I felt sad to see Athena "tossed to the side" when Anton fell in love with Gen. Athena is anything but bothered though; she is a strong women, full of confidence and intelligence. She is the type of woman who doesn't really need a man in her life, but Gabe compliments her so incredibly well.

Audacity features some forbidden romance tropes that I really enjoy. Don't let the tropes fool you into thinking this is a light and fluffy spicy romance. While the spice is incredibly written as usual, Audacity is a romance with substance and depth.

Athena and Gabe experience so much self-discovery and growth both on their own and together.  Gabe supports Athena's strong will and ambition, while softening her with his compassion and tenderness. He is such a loving and gentle man. I truly love Athena and Gabe together and they have become one of my favorite couples in the Elodie Hart universe. I love the cameos from the Alchemy characters, and the strong solidarity between the women. I am so excited for Marlowe's story!
