 This wasn't what I thought it was but it was so much better. I was expecting more magic/fantasy but what I got what a reminder of the magic we encounter everyday. Boo is so relatable as a character and I cannot wait to see how she overcomes her struggles. my jaw literally dropped at the cliffhanger. The illustrations are beautiful and I found so many little details in the panels, I especially loved the diversity of bodies (beautiful representation of stretch marks at one point that really caught my attention) and races in the illustration work. The plot of this story is definitely darker then the color scheme would suggest and Boo has a lot on her plate.
