Finally finished In the Lives of Puppets!! It took me a bit to get into this book, but I did after a couple of chapters. Unfortunately, the end felt rushed and not very fulfilling. This book took me over 10 days to finish which is very unusual for me.
I really wanted to LOVE this book in the same way that I loved Under the Whispering Door. However, it was just okay for me. Some of the main characters (Nurse RATCHED and Rambo) seemed juvenile and annoying at times. HAP is amazing and so lovable. I’d be interested in reading the original book that TJ Klune mentioned in the acknowledgements. Apparently, he had to remove a lot from this book before publishing (not sure why??).
