This was cute. Even after reading the description I didn’t really know what I was getting into. The narrators were great. The story is fun. There is spice and fighting and flower crowns… seriously, what more do you want?!
I was hesitant to read a book anywhere near the realm as D&D because I know NOTHING about what it is about. I didn’t need to know any of it. The story was easy to follow and the characters were entertaining. I never felt like I was missing part of the overall picture.
This is a fairly cozy, adventuresome fantasy with some on the page spice. Great as a palate cleanser when you are stuck in a book hangover.
