The debut poetry collection from Halsey definitely showed her skills as a writer, but also showed that not all songwriters are poets.
A lot of these poems were incredibly meandering and once the poem should have ended, Halsey continued to write for 3 more pages. This collection could’ve been so much better if it was revised by a excellent editor.
Overall a lot of rambling about love and really not much else of substance.
